Within minutes of the Gold Coast, cruise to the ‘Humpback Highway’ and spy on the world’s largest animals from 3 spacious viewing platforms with a spectacular backdrop of the Surfers Paradise skyline. The Gold Coast whale watching season runs from the end of May to early November. Our whale watching cruises will depart daily from the Sea World Cruises Main Beach Terminal at 9 AM, 12 PM, and 3 PM. Additional departures with the boat "Kaiala" at 8 AM, 11 AM, and 2 PM during peak time. In the unlikely event, your tour fails to see a whale you will receive a free return cruise voucher.
After some concerns about rough weather
After some concerns about rough weather, we decided to go anyway. The trip through the bar was rough but once out it was ok. Staff were great and the facilities onboard were good. It was one of the best experiences as we got to see many whales and their breaching etc. was totally awesome. Thanks!

Wow! Had an amazing time saw so many whales! I would go back again in a heartbeat! It was a beautiful day also the information about the whales that was discussed on the day was great learnt a lot that. I would recommend my family and friends to attend this cruise.

It's my first time to watch whales on a cruise. It's an unforgettable, amazing experience! We were so excited to see the Humpback whales breathing above water! At the same time, there were few dolphins following along with these whales, how harmonious scene it is!
